After 3 days of activities, Dec 24th was a rest day for all of us. The resort also had Christmas celebrations and activities for the kids. We spent the morning & noon at the pool & beach. Some very good pictures of the white sand captured during our morning visit to the beach.

The resort had 2 specialty restaurants for dinner that needs a must have reservation to be placed in the morning. Pachos (Spanish restaurant) and Marco Polo (Italian) were the prime dining spots in this resort and is always very hard to get a reservation.

They always reserve some spots for members and allot very few for non-members. We could not visit both these restaurants until Dec 23rd due to the theatre dinner visits and eating at downtown locations. We were able to get a reservation for the Christmas Eve at 7 PM and I was really looking forward to dining at Panchos but a huge surprise was awaiting that evening

They had the Christmas special menu on 24th and the only food that we could eat was Salad. The appetizer, entrees had beef and turkey options and we could not choose any of these 2 items. They could not customize the food for us that evening as it was Christmas Eve special.

Christmas Eve Dinner was at the Thai Restaurant that we visited 4 days back at the down town area. As everyone was very hungry, we didn’t want to try any new cuisine for that night and decided to keep it simple.

The resort had musical shows that night followed by beautiful fireworks finished our day.
