Relaxation Day – Day 2

Today was a relaxing day as well. After a warm breakfast, we went to the beach right outside the resort. Gayathri & I went on a walk along the shore side while the kids were building their sand castle and having fun.

The kids wanted to have fun inside the pool along with the parents. Mani, Gayathri & I soaked in the pool along with the kids for few hours. Swimming lessons were taught by Arvind to both Mani & I :-). There were pool side activities conducted by the resort every day and fun to watch them as well.

In the evening we wanted to do the Art Walk suggested by the Resort members as one of the must do attraction in the Cabo area.

The Art Walk Gallery is opened every Thursday’s from 5 PM to 10 PM at the downtown area in San Jose Del Cabo

We took a taxi from our resort to reach the downtown and had the map of the Art Gallery displays. The evening walk around the parallel streets were really nice and we spotted our first art gallery shop and found many. San Jose city has dozens of art galleries and studios that had diverse media and genres from local and international artists.

You can see very good works on canvas, eclectic sculptures in bronze and metal, hand-carved religious artifacts, porcelain and ceramic paintings. Some of my personal favorites were the African sculptures galleria and the Amber gallery. It was very interesting to see the display of Amber in different forms and beautiful amber jewelry display that caught my eyes.

After eating Mexican & Italian food at the resort for 2 straight days (6-8 times in total), we wanted to try Thai food near the Art Gallery shows. Baan Thai restaurant did meet our expectations and had a very good dinner here.

We walked down the streets and headed to the Church area where there were some Christmas Choirs going on and many people were assembled listening to the choir. Spent few minutes near the Church area and headed back to the resort by Taxi.
